Hi, I’m Drew Baird!

I’m the man behind HealthyPCOS, and I’m here to help you live a more manageable, enjoyable life with PCOS. My passion to help women with PCOS comes from knowing that so many from around the world currently feel lost and confused about their condition and its debilitating symptoms. Sharing my knowledge and giving you ways to alleviate symptoms and live an easier life is the least I can do.

My journey to becoming a PCOS expert started out of hopelessness really when a girl named Lana came to me for help to lose weight. I remember her being so desperate. She barely had any confidence; a lot of self-doubt, constantly out of energy, and was genuinely living a hard life. Years she had been trying to lose weight, but to no avail. When she first came to me for help, I realised it’s about more than just losing weight and being healthy; it’s about living an easier, more manageable life. So, I tried to help her with this in mind. Long story short, I tried all of my weight loss techniques that usually work with great success - dieting, exercise, supplementation - but no results. We kept trying with some different techniques but still nothing. I honestly felt terrible. Lana was confused and completely hopeless, and admittedly, I was getting that way too.

At this point, we were 2 months into her training. With still no results, barely any belief left, and tears running down her face, Lana asked me a question.

“Is it because of my PCOS?”

Well at this point I had never heard of ‘PCOS’. I told Lana I’d do some research and get back to her first thing in the morning. I quickly discovered that women with PCOS have key hormonal differences than women without, which makes it almost impossible for them to lose weight with traditional weight loss techniques. I also learned that at least 70% of women with PCOS have insulin resistance which keeps the body in a constant ‘fat storage’ mode. So, instead of focusing on calories, we approached Lana’s situation through a hormonal perspective. Simply put, we needed a way to correct specific hormonal imbalances that were causing her to gain weight and making it near impossible for her to lose it. As a result, I created her new workouts, changed her diet and most importantly recommended her some supplements that were scientifically proven to help control PCOS symptoms by balancing hormones.

Something amazing happened after these changes. Lana began to lose weight! Suddenly, her body was rapidly changing, over the next 6 months she lost 23kg (50 pounds). To this day Lana has lost 41kg following those new techniques. Incredible.

Obviously, Lana is NOT the only one suffering from PCOS and its debilitating symptoms. So, I used my knowledge and the supplements I recommended to Lana to create an all-in-one daily multivitamin that not only makes it possible to lose weight and be healthy, but it gives women with PCOS a chance to live an easier, more enjoyable life.
